Cable ladder reduction – width transition
This cable ladder reduction enables a smooth transition between different ladder widths, providing design flexibility for installations. Constructed from steel, it offers strength and durability, while hot-dip galvanizing protects against corrosion even in harsh environmental conditions.
Construction and installation
The RDPC500/400H50 N reduction connects sections of 500 mm width with sections of 400 mm width. The sheet thickness of 2.0 mm ensures adequate mechanical strength. For proper installation, the following additional components are required:
- 4 LDCH… connectors
- 16 sets of screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14
For non-standard orders, dimensions a and b must be specified. The design of the reduction allows for mounting of cable clamps UK/UKO… and UKP….
Materials and finish
Various material options are available:
- Standard: Sendzimir galvanized steel (S) in accordance with PN-EN 10346:2015-09.
- On request:
- Hot-dip galvanized steel (F) in accordance with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 – provides higher corrosion resistance.
- Stainless steel (E) – ideal for aggressive environments.
- Powder coating in standard RAL color palette (L) – allows color matching to the surrounding environment.
The reduction is compatible with cable ladder systems, facilitating seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Hot-dip galvanizing is a proven method of protection against atmospheric factors and corrosion, particularly critical for outdoor or moisture-exposed installations.
