Cable Tray Reducer – Change of Direction and Width of Installation

This cable tray reducer, manufactured from steel, is designed to alter the width of the cable route. It enables a smooth transition between different sections of the installation where a different width of the supporting structure is required. This is particularly useful when designing complex cable routing systems in public utility buildings, industrial halls, or infrastructure facilities.

Construction and Installation

The reducer is made from 2.0 mm thick steel sheet. Various material options are available: Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (S), hot-dip galvanized steel (F – upon order), stainless steel (E – upon order), and the possibility of powder coating in standard RAL colors (L – upon order). Hot-dip galvanizing ensures high corrosion resistance, which is essential in harsh environmental conditions.

For proper installation, 4 LDCH… connectors and 16 sets of screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 are required. For non-standard orders, dimensions a and b must be specified to ensure perfect adaptation to the specific installation. The tray sections are designed to allow easy mounting of cable supports UK/UKO… and UKP….

The reducer has a width of 600 mm on one side and 500 mm on the other, enabling flexible adaptation to existing infrastructure. This product does not possess fire resistance properties (no E30 or E90 classification). When selecting this component, consider the specific installation requirements and fire safety regulations.
