Cable Tray Reducer – Width Transition

This steel cable tray reducer is designed to transition the cable tray width from 600 mm to 500 mm. It is a critical component for adapting existing infrastructure or connecting elements of differing dimensions. Design and Application

This reducer is particularly useful during the construction or modernization of cable routing systems in public buildings, industrial facilities, and electrical installations. The 2.0 mm sheet thickness guarantees sufficient rigidity and structural strength. The option to select the material (Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel per PN-EN 10346:2015-09, hot-dip galvanized steel per PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02, or stainless steel) allows customization to specific environmental conditions and project requirements. Additionally, an optional powder coating in standard RAL colors is available for enhanced aesthetics.

Installation and Compatibility

Proper installation of the reducer requires LDCH… connectors and SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 screws (4 connectors and 16 screw sets needed). For non-standard orders, precise dimensions a and b must be specified. It is also essential to select compatible tray steps and cable supports:

• Type A: Tray step DK… with support UKZ…
• Type B: Tray step DF… or DU… with support UK…
• Type C: Universal tray step DUV… with supports UKZ… and UK…

When ordering fittings, always specify the tray symbol to ensure full component compatibility. This reducer meets E-90 fire resistance rating, providing 90 minutes of fire endurance. The surface is protected by hot-dip zinc coating, ensuring high corrosion resistance.
