Cable Tray Reducer – Change of Direction and Width

This steel cable tray reducer is designed to change the width of the cable tray route. It enables a smooth transition between different sections of the installation where a different tray width is required. The construction made of galvanized steel ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which is especially important in demanding industrial and technical environments.

Construction and Installation

The right-hand reducer RDPC600/500H80 N features dimensions of 600 mm (wider side) and 500 mm (narrower side). The sheet thickness is 2.0 mm, ensuring adequate mechanical strength. For proper installation, the following additional components are required:

• 4 LDCH… connectors
• 16 sets of screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14.

For non-standard orders, dimensions 'a' and 'b' must be specified to ensure precise adaptation to the specific installation. The tray steps are compatible with standard cable clamps of the UK/UKO… and UKP… series.

Materials and Finish

Available material options allow customization of the reducer to suit specific operating conditions:

• Standard: Sendzimir-galvanized steel (S) – compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09.
• On request:
  • Hot-dip galvanized steel (F) – compliant with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 – provides enhanced corrosion resistance.
  • Stainless steel (E) – ideal for aggressive chemical or humid environments.
  • Powder coating in standard RAL color palette (L) – allows color matching to the environment or project requirements.

Hot-dip galvanizing of the surface further protects against corrosion, extending the product’s service life even under harsh operating conditions.
