Reduction for cable trays – change in tray width

This right-hand reduction, with dimensions 500x400 mm and height 50 mm, is designed to change the width of the cable tray route. It enables a smooth transition between different sections of the installation where varying cable tray widths are required. Manufactured from steel, it ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Materials and construction

The reduction is available in various material variants, tailored to specific project requirements:

• Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (S): Standard version, compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09.
• Hot-dip galvanized steel (F): Enhanced corrosion resistance, compliant with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 – available on request.
• Stainless steel (E): Ideal for aggressive environments requiring high chemical resistance – available on request.
• Painting (L): Option to paint in any color from the RAL palette – available on request.

Additionally, the reduction design allows mounting using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws. The sheet thickness of 1.5 mm ensures rigidity and structural strength.

Application and installation

The RKPP500/400H50 reduction is particularly useful in electrical and telecommunication installations where it is necessary to adapt cable tray widths to changing numbers of cables or specific layout requirements. For non-standard dimensions, specify dimensions 'a' and 'b' when ordering (e.g., RK...400/200H50 for a reduction from 400 mm to 200 mm). Using this reduction enables optimal space utilization and maintains order in cable installations. Hot-dip galvanized material provides additional corrosion protection, which is especially important under harsh environmental conditions.
