Cable tray reducer – change of route width

This RKPSC400/300H160 right-hand reducer is used for smooth transition between different cable tray widths in an installation. It allows you to adapt the cable route to changing needs without the need for additional elements or complicating the layout. This is particularly useful when designing and modifying electrical installations in commercial, industrial and public buildings.

Design and materials

The reducer is made of steel, which ensures its strength and resistance to mechanical damage. Various material options are available:

• S – steel galvanized by Sendzimir method (PN-EN 10346:2015-09) – standard finish, providing good corrosion protection.
• F (on request) – steel galvanized by hot-dip method (PN-EN ISO 1461:2011) – increased corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor or aggressive environments.
• E (on request) – stainless steel – highest corrosion resistance, dedicated to the most demanding applications.
• L (on request) – possibility of painting in a standard RAL palette – aesthetic finish and matching the surroundings.

The sheet thickness is 2.0 mm, which guarantees the rigidity and stability of the structure. The surface of the reducer is protected with hot-dip galvanizing, which further protects against corrosion.

Installation and compatibility

To connect the reducer to the cable tray, use LSSU... fittings and SGKM8x16 screws. For non-standard orders, it is necessary to provide the dimensions 'a' and 'b' of the reducer. For larger orders, it is possible to make reducers with a thickness of 1.5 mm. The reducer has dimensions of 400 mm (larger width), 300 mm (smaller width) and a height of 160 mm, which allows it to be adapted to different cable tray systems.
