Cable tray reducer – route width change

This RKPSC500/400H160 right-hand reducer allows for a smooth transition between different cable tray widths in an installation. It allows you to adapt the cable route to changing needs without the need for additional elements. This is particularly useful when expanding or modifying existing infrastructure.

Construction and materials

The reducer is made of steel, which ensures its strength and resistance to mechanical damage. Various material options are available, depending on environmental requirements and budget:

• S – Sendzimir galvanized steel (PN-EN 10346:2015-09) – a standard solution providing good corrosion protection.
• F (on request) – hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2011) – provides higher corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor or aggressive environments.
• E (on request) – stainless steel – highest corrosion resistance, dedicated to the most demanding applications.
• L (on request) – powder coating in a standard RAL palette – allows you to match the color of the reducer to the surroundings or the color scheme of the installation.

The sheet thickness is 2.0 mm, which guarantees adequate stiffness and durability of the structure. The surface of the reducer is protected with hot-dip galvanizing, which further increases its corrosion resistance.

Installation and compatibility

Dedicated LSSU... fittings and SGKM8x16 screws are required to connect the reducer to the cable tray. For non-standard orders, it is necessary to provide dimensions a and b to ensure proper fit of the reducer to a specific installation. For larger orders, it is possible to produce reducers with a thickness of 1.5 mm.

The RKPSC500/400H160 right-hand reducer has dimensions of 500 mm (larger width), 400 mm (smaller width) and a height of 160 mm. This allows for precise adaptation to existing cable trays and ensures a stable structure of the entire cable route.
