Cable tray reduction – route width change

This right-hand reduction, made of steel, is used to change the width of the cable route in electrical installations. It allows for a smooth transition between different tray widths, adapting the layout to the specific needs of the project. This is particularly useful when designing complex cable routes where dimensional changes are required.

Construction and materials

The reduction has dimensions of 600 mm (larger width) and 500 mm (smaller width), and its height is 160 mm. It is made of steel with a thickness of 2.0 mm, which ensures its strength and resistance to mechanical loads. It is standardly offered with a surface protection in the form of hot-dip galvanizing – this guarantees high corrosion resistance, even in harsh environmental conditions.

Additionally, custom-made versions are available:

• Steel galvanized by immersion method (F): Provides even higher corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor or aggressive environment applications. Complies with PN-EN ISO 1461:2011.
• Stainless steel (E): Resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage – an excellent choice for installations requiring the highest level of reliability and durability.
• RAL color powder coating (L): Allows you to match the color of the reduction to the surroundings or the aesthetic requirements of the project.

Installation and compatibility

To properly connect the reduction to the cable tray, dedicated LSSU… fitting connectors and SGKM8x16 screws should be used. For non-standard orders, it is necessary to provide dimensions "a" and "b" for precise adaptation of the reduction to a specific installation. For larger orders, it is possible to make reductions with a thickness of 1.5 mm – it is worth considering this for large projects where cost optimization is important.
