Cable Reduction for Reliable Protection

The right reduction cover PRKPP400/300 is a component of cable tray systems, designed to protect cables against mechanical damage, dust, and environmental conditions. Manufactured from 1.5 mm thick steel and coated with hot-dip galvanizing, it ensures durable protection and high corrosion resistance. Its purpose is to adapt the width of the cable tray, enabling transition from a cable tray 400 mm wide to one 300 mm wide.

Functionality and Safety in One

The cover’s design facilitates easy installation and removal, simplifying access to cables during maintenance or system modifications. It meets the E-90 fire rating, meaning it can maintain operational integrity for at least 90 minutes in the event of a fire. This is critical for installations requiring high safety standards, such as fire alarm systems, emergency signaling, and evacuation lighting.

Materials and Construction for Demanding Applications

The steel used is zinc-coated via the Sendzimir process (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), guaranteeing superior quality and longevity. Upon request, the cover can also be manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02), painted in any color from the RAL palette, or made from stainless steel. It is recommended to use additional latches to enhance connection stability and safety.
