Flat roof mounting – steel plate SPM2

The SPM2 mounting plate is a solution designed for safe and durable mounting of elements on flat roofs covered with roofing felt or membrane. The plate's design is intended to minimize the load on the roof while providing adequate load-bearing capacity, especially in combination with BAKS structures.

The plate is made of S350GD steel, protected by a Magnelis®, MagiZinc® or PosMAC coating – which guarantees high corrosion resistance and long-term operation. The mounting pin is made of stainless steel, providing additional protection against the effects of weathering.

Installation and application

A key advantage of the SPM2 plate is its non-invasive installation method. This eliminates the risk of damage to the roof's insulation layer during installation. The plate is compatible with both roofing felt and roofing membranes, however, attention should be paid to the minimum dimensions of the laps – for roofing felt, a minimum of 500 x 1200 mm is required, and for membranes 300 x 1000 mm.

The kit includes all necessary mounting elements: two enlarged washers, two spring washers and two stainless steel nuts. The M8x30 threaded pin is permanently attached to the plate, making the installation process easier and faster.
