Ladder Reduction – Symmetrical Transition Between Cable Trays

This symmetrical ladder reduction, manufactured from steel and protected by hot-dip galvanizing, is designed to change the width of a cable tray run. It enables a smooth transition from one dimension to another, ensuring continuous cable routing. The product is particularly useful during the design and modification of electrical installations where flexibility in adapting cable routes to changing conditions is required.

Construction and Installation

The reduction features a robust construction made from 2.0 mm thick steel sheet, ensuring strength and stability. Dimensions: 400 mm (wider side) x 300 mm (narrower side). Installation requires the use of dedicated connectors LDCH… and screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 (4 connectors and 16 screw sets required). This ensures a fast and reliable installation process. For non-standard orders, dimensions 'a' and 'b' must be specified individually.

Application and Properties

The RDSC400/300H60N reduction meets the E-90 fire resistance rating, meaning it maintains electrical circuit integrity for at least 90 minutes in the event of a fire. It can be manufactured from various materials: Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02), or stainless steel, allowing customization to specific project requirements and environmental conditions. Additionally, an option for powder coating in standard RAL colors is available for better integration with the surrounding environment. This product is widely used in commercial and industrial construction as well as infrastructure installations.
