This symmetrical ladder reducer, made of steel and protected with hot-dip galvanizing, is a reliable solution for changing the width of a cable ladder route. Designed for both professional installers and end customers who independently expand or modify electrical installations, its robust construction and precise manufacturing ensure durability and safety.

The RDSC600/500H45 reducer enables a smooth transition from a 600 mm wide ladder to a 500 mm wide one, ensuring optimal cable and wire flow. Manufactured from 2.0 mm thick steel, it offers high mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The hot-dip galvanized coating further protects it against atmospheric agents, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation of the reducer is simple and intuitive. For proper mounting, LDCH… connectors and screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 are required (4 connectors and 16 complete screw sets). When placing non-standard orders, please specify dimensions a and b to ensure perfect compatibility with existing installations.

When planning installations, also consider compatibility with other BAKS system components. When ordering fittings, always indicate the ladder symbol to select the correct rungs (DK… or DU… type) and matching cable clamps (UKZ… or UK…). This ensures a cohesive and functional cable installation.

Material and Construction – Quality Guaranteed

The reducer is manufactured from steel galvanized using the Sendzimir process (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), or – upon request – from stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02). Additionally, powder coating in standard RAL colors is available, allowing color matching to the environment or project requirements. Material selection depends on the specific application and environmental conditions.
