Symmetrical Reducer for Cable Trays

This symmetrical reducer, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray route. It enables a smooth transition between different cable tray dimensions, ensuring optimal adaptation of the installation to specific requirements. This is particularly useful during the design and modification of existing cabling systems.

Construction and Materials

The RKSBJ200/100H110 reducer features a robust construction. Made of steel and protected with hot-dip galvanizing, it ensures high corrosion resistance and long-term protection against environmental factors. The sheet thickness of 1.0 mm guarantees adequate mechanical strength.

Additionally, custom-made variants are available upon request:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel (F): Provides even higher corrosion resistance, ideal for harsh environmental conditions.
• Stainless steel (E): Offers maximum corrosion resistance and is perfectly suited for demanding environments such as food or chemical industries.
• Painting in standard RAL color palette (L): Allows the reducer’s color to be matched to the surrounding environment or project specifications.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation is performed using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws, ensuring fast and secure mounting. For non-standard orders, dimensions 'a' and 'b' must be specified—for example, a transition from 400 mm to 200 mm is denoted as RK...400/200H110. The reducer is designed for cable trays with a height of 110 mm, with widths of 200 mm on one side and 100 mm on the other. Integrated connectors eliminate the need for additional mounting components, simplifying installation and reducing costs.
