Symmetrical reduction for cable trays

This component enables a smooth transition between cable trays of different widths, allowing the installation to be adapted to specific requirements. The RKSBJ200/150H100 reduction is manufactured from steel and protected with fire galvanizing, ensuring high corrosion resistance and durability even under harsh environmental conditions. The sheet thickness is 1.0 mm.

Construction and application

The symmetrical reduction is designed to connect cable trays of different widths—in this case, from 200 mm to 150 mm—while maintaining continuous cable routing. It is intended for trays with a height of 100 mm. Installation is performed using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws, ensuring a stable and secure connection.

Materials and finishing options

Standardly, the reduction is manufactured from steel fire-galvanized (PN-EN 10346:2015-09). Upon request, versions are also available in hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) or stainless steel. Additionally, lacquering in any RAL color is available, allowing the reduction to be matched to the aesthetic of the installation.

Important information for installers

• For non-standard orders, dimensions a and b must be specified (e.g., for a 400/200H100 reduction).
• Use of appropriate mounting screws (SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12) is critical for correct and safe assembly of components.
• Fire galvanizing provides high corrosion resistance, which is especially important for outdoor installations or those exposed to moisture.
