Symmetrical reduction for cable trays

This symmetrical reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray system. It enables a smooth transition from a 300 mm wide tray to a 200 mm wide tray, maintaining the continuity of the installation. This is a key component in cable management systems, allowing flexible adaptation to changing requirements and configurations.

Construction and materials

The reduction is manufactured from steel and protected with hot-dip galvanizing, ensuring high resistance to corrosion and long-term protection against atmospheric conditions. Hot-dip galvanizing is a proven method for safeguarding steel components, particularly those exposed to moisture and fluctuating temperatures. The sheet thickness is 1.50 mm, contributing to the strength and structural stability.

Application and installation

This reduction is suitable for electrical installations in both commercial and residential construction. It is compatible with cable trays of 60 mm height. Installation is simple and intuitive — the unit is secured using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws. Upon request, versions made from alternative materials (acid-resistant steel) or with additional finishes (painting in RAL color palette) are available. For non-standard dimensions, custom reductions with specified parameters (dimensions a and b) can be ordered.

Standards and safety

The steel used in the production of this reduction complies with standard PN-EN 10346:2015-09. Please note that this reduction does not carry an E30 or E90 fire resistance certification.
