Symmetrical reduction for cable trays – connection and change of direction

The symmetrical reduction RKSFJ200/100H60 is a component of cable tray systems designed to change the width of the cable tray. It enables a smooth transition from a 200 mm wide tray to a 100 mm wide tray while maintaining installation continuity. This is essential when designing complex cable networks where adaptation to changing spatial requirements is necessary.

Constructed from steel with hot-dip galvanized protection, it ensures corrosion resistance and durability even under harsh environmental conditions. The side wall height of 60 mm provides adequate protection for cables. The reduction’s design allows for easy installation and removal, facilitating both installation and maintenance work.

Safety and use in fire protection systems

This reduction model is distinguished by the E90 fire integrity certification, meaning it can maintain structural integrity for a minimum of 90 minutes in the event of a fire (in accordance with DIN 4102-12). This is critically important in public buildings, industrial facilities, and any location requiring high fire resistance. E90-certified reductions are intended for protecting fire alarm systems, fire detection systems, and emergency lighting.

Additionally, the reduction is compatible with 60 mm high trays and is manufactured from steel coated using the Sendzimir method (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), confirming high material and manufacturing quality. A painted version is also available in the standard RAL color palette.
