Symmetrical Reducer for Cable Trays

This symmetrical reducer, manufactured from steel, enables a smooth transition between different widths of cable tray runs. It is particularly useful during the design and modification of electrical installations, where space must be adapted to changing cable routing requirements. The design allows for an easy transition from a wider section (200 mm) to a narrower one (100 mm), ensuring optimal space utilization and flexibility in cable management.

Materials and Protection

The RKSJ200/100H80 reducer is standardly manufactured from Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), providing excellent corrosion resistance. Custom versions are available upon request:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02): Offers superior corrosion resistance, ideal for harsh environmental conditions.
• Stainless steel: For applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance and hygiene.
• Painting in RAL color range: Allows the reducer to be matched to the surrounding environment or specific project requirements.

Additionally, the surface is protected by a hot-dip zinc coating, enhancing durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation is simple and intuitive, using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws. Integrated connectors eliminate the need for additional mounting components, accelerating installation and reducing costs. The reducer is designed for cable trays with a height of 80 mm. For non-standard orders, it is essential to specify dimensions 'a' and 'b' — for example, a transition from 400 mm to 200 mm is designated as RK...400/200H80. The sheet thickness is 1.0 mm, ensuring adequate structural strength.
