Symmetrical reduction for cable trays

This symmetrical reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of cable tray runs. It enables a smooth transition between different tray dimensions, providing flexibility in designing and modifying installations. This is particularly useful when adapting existing systems or adjusting them to changing requirements.

Construction and materials

The RSKMC600/500H50 reduction features a robust construction from 2.0 mm thick steel sheet. Standard version is manufactured from Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (designation S, PN-EN 10346:2015-09), ensuring good corrosion resistance. Upon request, versions are available with hot-dip galvanized steel (designation F, PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) – offering enhanced corrosion protection – and stainless steel (designation E), ideal for environments with higher hygiene requirements or aggressive chemical conditions.

Application and compatibility

The RSKMC600/500H50 reduction is designed for use with 50 mm high cable trays. Its dimensions – 600 mm (wider side) and 500 mm (narrower side) – allow seamless connection of trays with different widths, creating a cohesive and functional system. The surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing, further enhancing durability and resistance to atmospheric conditions.
