The reduction cover PRDSP600/500 is a cable protection system component designed to safeguard cables against mechanical damage and harsh environmental conditions, such as highly dusty interiors. Made of steel and hot-dip galvanized, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Its 500 mm width allows compatibility with various cable tray configurations.

Design and Application

This cover reduces the width of cable trays from 600 mm to 500 mm, enabling optimal adaptation to installation requirements. The 1.5 mm plate thickness provides sufficient rigidity and structural strength. Availability in different materials – Sendzimir zinc-coated steel (S), hot-dip galvanized steel (F – upon order), stainless steel (E – upon order), or with additional RAL-palette painting (L – upon order) – allows customization to specific project needs.

Safety and Certifications

The PRDSP600/500 cover complies with the E90 fire resistance performance requirements according to DIN 4102-12. This means it ensures at least 90 minutes of continued operational functionality of equipment during a fire. This is critical for ensuring the reliability of fire alarm systems, fire detection, and emergency lighting, particularly in buildings equipped with water sprinklers. Hot-dip galvanizing further protects against corrosion and atmospheric exposure.
