Symmetrical Reduction Cover – Protection and Functionality

The reduction cover PRKSP600/500 is a cable protection system component that effectively shields against dirt, mechanical damage, and atmospheric influences, including UV radiation. Manufactured from steel with Sendzimir zinc-coated coating, it provides durable protection under demanding conditions. Its 500 mm width allows compatibility with various cable tray configurations.

Robust Construction and Materials

The cover is made from high-quality steel, ensuring strength and resistance to loads. Multiple material variants are available to meet specific requirements:

• Sendzimir zinc-coated steel (S): Standard version compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09.
• Hot-dip galvanized steel (F): Enhanced zinc coating per PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 – available on request.
• Painted (L): Option to paint in any RAL color – available on request.
• Stainless steel (E): Superior corrosion resistance and performance under extreme conditions – available on request.

The 1.5 mm sheet thickness further reinforces the cover’s structure.

Safety and Compliance with Standards

The PRKSP600/500 cover meets the E90 fire resistance requirements of DIN 4102-12, ensuring at least 90 minutes of operational integrity for installed equipment during a fire. This is particularly critical for fire safety systems such as fire alarm signaling, fire detection, and emergency lighting with water spray nozzles. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use additional locking clips to secure the cover to cable trays.
