Three-way channel reducer – optimization of cable routing

The RKNt340/175H28 channel reducer is a component of cable routing systems designed to modify the width of existing installations. It enables adaptation of cable layouts to current requirements without the need to dismantle the entire route. This is particularly useful during modifications of electrical installations in commercial and industrial buildings, but it is equally effective in residential applications.

Constructed from steel with a hot-dip galvanized surface finish, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability even under harsh environmental conditions. A sheet thickness of 1.0 mm ensures adequate rigidity and structural strength.

Construction and application

The RKNt340/175H28 reducer connects two cable tray sections of different widths – 340 mm and 175 mm – with a height of 28 mm. This allows for smooth transition of cables between different installation sections while maintaining order and aesthetics. Installation is simple and intuitive, resulting in time and labor cost savings.

Upon request, a version made from stainless steel is also available – ideal for use in aggressive chemical environments or applications requiring high hygiene standards.
