Cable tray reducer – width change

This reducer, made of steel, is used to change the width of cable routes. It allows for a smooth transition between trays of different sizes – from 350 mm to 240 mm. This is particularly useful when designing and modifying electrical installations where it is necessary to adapt the cable layout to changing conditions.

The reducer's construction provides a solid and secure connection of the trays, minimizing the risk of damage to the wires. Made of 1.0 mm thick sheet metal, it guarantees strength and resistance to mechanical loads.

Materials and protection

The reducer is available in two material versions:

• Sendzimir galvanized steel (S): Compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09, provides good protection against corrosion in standard environmental conditions.

• Stainless steel (E): Available on request, ideal for use in aggressive environments or requiring high corrosion resistance.

In addition, the surface of the reducer is protected by hot-dip galvanizing, which increases its durability and resistance to atmospheric factors.

Installation and application

The RKNt350/240H28 reducer is compatible with BAKS metal cable trays and other manufacturers with similar dimensions. Its height is 28 mm, which allows for maintaining adequate space for cables. Installation is simple and intuitive, and the solid construction ensures the stability of the entire installation.
