Cable tray cover – protection and durability of the installation

The PKJ50/3 cover is designed to secure cable trays with a width of 50 mm. Made of steel with a thickness of 1.0 mm, it provides effective protection of cables against mechanical damage, dust and weather conditions, including UV radiation. This ensures that the installation remains safe and reliable for a long time.

This cover is particularly important in places exposed to intensive use or difficult environmental conditions. Using the cover significantly extends the life of the cables and minimizes the risk of failure. The product meets the requirements of E-90, which means that it maintains its functionality even in the event of a fire, ensuring the continuity of critical systems.

Materials and workmanship

The PKJ50/3 cover is available in various material versions, tailored to specific needs:

• Sendzimira PN-EN 10346:2015-09 (S) galvanized steel: Standard finish, providing good corrosion resistance.
• Hot-dip galvanized steel PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 (F): A durable zinc coating provides even better corrosion protection, especially in aggressive environments. Available to order.
• Stainless steel (E): Ideal solution for applications requiring the highest corrosion resistance and hygiene. Available to order.
• Powder coating in standard RAL palette (L): Possibility to match the color of the cover to the surroundings or project requirements. Available to order.

Additionally, it is recommended to use clips for secure and safe mounting of the cover to the cable tray. The cover length is 3 meters, which facilitates installation and minimizes the number of connections. Hot-dip galvanizing guarantees long-term corrosion protection even in harsh outdoor conditions.
