Wind deflector for photovoltaic structures
The OWN15/2.4NMC wind deflector is a structural element designed for mounting on flat roofs with panels set at an angle of 10°, 15° or 20°. Its main function is to improve the aerodynamics of the entire photovoltaic installation, which reduces the load on the structure and reduces the amount of ballast needed to stabilize it. These deflectors are compatible with UPG...MC holders equipped with M8 threaded holes.
Made of S350GD steel with Magnelis®, MagiZinc® or PosMAC coating, the deflector is characterized by exceptional corrosion resistance, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in harsh weather conditions. The sheet thickness is 0.5 mm, providing adequate mechanical strength.
Construction and assembly
The deflector has been designed with easy and quick assembly in mind. It has special cutouts allowing for breaking off the hole covers without leaving sharp edges, which increases safety during installation. Dense perforation allows you to adapt the deflector to different types of photovoltaic panels. Additionally, cutouts facilitate screwing the deflector directly to the upper panel holders.
Mounting to the UPG...MC holder requires the use of SSZ8X12E, PW8E and PS8E fixing elements. In the case of mounting to the CP50H35/...MC channel, SAM8x25E, PS8E, PW8E and NRKM8PV elements will be necessary. Remember to use the PW8E enlarged washer between the deflector and the UPG...MC holder – this is crucial for correct assembly.
