Photoelectric sensor for precise detection
This reflective photoelectric sensor, utilizing a polarized red light beam, is a reliable solution for industrial automation and detection systems. Application and functionality
The sensor is designed to detect objects based on reflected light. Beam polarization reduces the influence of color and gloss of the detected object, increasing measurement reliability. Adjustable sensitivity via a built-in potentiometer allows for precise adaptation of the sensor to specific application requirements. The detection range is from 50 mm to 3500 mm, making it a versatile tool in many applications – from counting and positioning systems to monitoring the presence of objects on production lines. Thanks to the IP67 protection rating, the sensor is dustproof and moisture resistant, allowing its use in demanding environments.
Mounting and technical parameters
The sensor is equipped with a 2-meter PVC cable with a 4-pin M12 connector, which facilitates its installation and connection to the control system. A wide operating temperature range (-20…+70 °C) allows its use in various environmental conditions. Built-in LEDs provide good visibility of the sensor's operating status from all sides, facilitating diagnostics and servicing. Thanks to the possibility of both front (M18 thread) and side mounting, the sensor can be easily adapted to the specific construction of the machine or device. It is important to remember the need to use an appropriate reflector (e.g. BRT-2X2 or BRT-51x51BM) for correct operation of the sensor in reflective mode.
