This portable clamp meter CM 10-PV from Benning is an indispensable tool for both professional photovoltaic installers and those involved in electrical diagnostics. Thanks to the TRUE RMS method, it provides accurate results even with non-linear loads, which is particularly important when measuring in modern installations with frequency inverters or switch-mode power supplies.

Functionality and capabilities

The meter allows you to measure AC and DC voltage (up to 1500V AC and 2000V DC with optional TA PV adapter), AC and DC current (up to 600A), resistance, circuit continuity, temperature and frequency. Additionally, it has a built-in low-pass filter (HFR) for measuring with pulsed motor drives and an INRUSH function for measuring inrush currents. The built-in Volt Sensor enables non-contact phase and cable break testing, increasing work safety. The ability to connect flexible CFlex clamps (available separately) extends the AC current measurement range to 3000A.

Data storage and connectivity

The CM 10-PV meter is equipped with a data logger with a memory function, allowing you to save up to 4000 measurement values with an adjustable time interval (from 1 second to 60 seconds). The Bluetooth® Low Energy 4.0 interface enables wireless data transmission to a smartphone or tablet using the dedicated BENNING MM-CM application, which facilitates the storage, analysis and sharing of measurement results.

Safety and durability

The device meets the requirements of measurement category CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V, ensuring a high level of safety. The housing made of non-slip and shatter-resistant SoftGrip material guarantees comfortable work even in difficult conditions. LED measurement point illumination makes it easier to work in poorly lit areas.
