Heat exchanger for heat pumps – efficient heating and cooling
PLEX 322-40 is a high-performance plate heat exchanger, dedicated to working with heat pumps with a power of 29-34 kW, using energy from the ground. Its construction based on stainless steel plates (SS 23 43) ensures reliable and long-lasting operation, even in demanding conditions. This heat exchanger is a key element of the installation, responsible for efficient heat transfer between the ground circuit and the central heating installation.
Construction and operating parameters
The PLEX 322-40 heat exchanger is characterized by compact dimensions (670 mm width, 247 mm height and 177 mm depth) which facilitates installation even in limited space. It is equipped with external threaded connections with a nominal diameter of 2 inches (50 mm) on both the primary and secondary sides, ensuring compatibility with most standard installations. The connection spacing is 520 mm. Its brazed construction guarantees high tightness and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the heat exchanger has polyurethane foam insulation (corresponding to approximately 70 mm of mineral wool), covered with ABS plastic, minimizing heat loss and ensuring energy efficiency of the system.
Application and compatibility
This PLEX heat exchanger model is particularly recommended for use with NIBE F1145, F1245, F1145 PC, F1245PC and F1345 heat pumps. Its performance – primary circuit flow rate of 45 m³/h and secondary circuit flow rate of 3 m³/h – allows for optimal use of geothermal energy. The maximum flow temperature is 185°C, and the maximum differential pressure at 20°C is 3 bar. Thanks to this, the heat exchanger ensures stable and efficient operation of the heating system for many years. It is an ideal solution for both new installations and modernization of existing heating systems.
