BiT 1000®FR Control Cable – Reliability and Safety in Every Circuit
The BiT 1000®FR cable is a versatile solution for control and power connections, designed for demanding applications. It is suitable for both industrial installations and public buildings where safety and reliability are crucial. This cable is particularly recommended for locations exposed to vibrations and for laying in dry and humid environments, as well as directly in the ground.
The BiT 1000®FR cable is characterized by its high flexibility, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. Made of copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², it provides a stable connection and minimizes energy losses. The use of special PVC as insulation and the outer jacket guarantees resistance to oils, UV radiation and the spread of fire – confirmed by the fire reaction class Eca.
Construction and parameters for professionals
The cable has five cores, marked with colors and numbers for easy identification. It is made of flexible class 5 copper strand, which ensures high mechanical strength and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. This makes the cable ideal for dynamic applications where movement or vibration occurs. The minimum bending radius for mobile installations is 106 mm, and for fixed installations 53 mm.
The materials used allow operation in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (fixed installation) and from -5°C to +70°C (mobile installation). The conductor resistance at 20°C is 19.5 Ω/km. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 10.6 mm, and its weight is about 165 kg/km. It should be noted that the cable has a protective conductor (PE).
Safety and compliance with standards
The BiT 1000®FR cable meets a number of safety standards, including PN-EN 60332-1 and PN-EN 60332-3-24, which guarantees its fire resistance. Additionally, it has a 50Hz voltage test at 4000V and insulation resistance of 20 MΩxkm. The cable does not contain halogens (according to IEC 60754-2) or emit low smoke (according to IEC 61034-2). It meets the requirements of the CN: 8544 49 99 and PKWiU: 27.32.13 standards.
