BiT 1000 (St) Control Cable – A Reliable Choice for Control Installations

The BiT 1000 (St) cable is a product from BITNER CABLE WORKS SP. Z O.O., designed for use in control and signaling installations. Its construction, based on copper conductors, ensures stable and safe transmission of control signals. This cable is suitable for both industrial and commercial or residential building applications.

Construction and Properties

The BiT 1000 (St) cable features a design with 48 copper conductors, enabling the implementation of complex control systems. Each conductor has a cross-section of 0.75 mm², providing sufficient current-carrying capacity for typical control applications. The insulation and outer sheath are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), offering excellent protection against mechanical and chemical influences. PVC is widely used due to its superior insulating properties and resistance to abrasion.

The cable is rated for a nominal voltage of up to 1 kV and an insulation voltage of 0.6/1 kV. Its fire reaction class is Eca, in accordance with EN 13501-6, indicating limited flammability—essential in areas with heightened fire safety requirements. Note that class Eca means the cable emits a limited amount of smoke during combustion.
