The BiT 500 2(St) 24x2x1.0 control cable is a flexible, multi-core cable designed for internal installations. The construction with double shielding – general and paired – ensures high resistance to electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in control and automation systems. The BiT 500 cable features a construction based on copper cores with a cross-section of 1.0 mm². These cores are twisted in pairs, minimizing the risk of interference. Shielding with aluminum foil, both on strands and common, effectively protects against the influence of external electromagnetic fields. Core insulation made of PVC and an outer coating of the same material provide resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors in an indoor environment. The permissible operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C allows the cable to be used in a wide range of conditions. The core resistance is 19.5 Ω/km.
