Construction and application

The BiT 500 2(St) cable consists of multi-wire copper cores with a cross-section of 1.0 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The cores are twisted in pairs, which minimizes the risk of interference. The whole is surrounded by an aluminum foil acting as a screen, additionally protected by a braid. The outer PVC coating provides resistance to mechanical damage and weathering. This makes the cable perfect for industrial installations, public buildings and automation systems.

The cable construction also includes a common screen made of aluminum foil and a screen on the bundles also made of aluminum foil, which further increases its resistance to interference.
