The BiT 500 C 10x1.5 control cable is a reliable solution for electrical installations inside buildings. Thanks to its construction and materials, this cable is suitable for both industrial and construction installations. It is ideal for powering, lighting and control systems.

A key element of the cable is a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper strands with a coverage density of 85%, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures stable signal transmission. The cable cores are numbered for easy identification during installation and servicing.

Construction and properties

The BiT 500 C cable features a flexible construction with multi-wire copper cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The insulation and outer jacket made of PVC provide resistance to mechanical damage and weathering. In addition, the cable has flame retardancy in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2, which increases safety in the event of a fire. Oil resistance (according to IEC 60811-404) expands the range of cable applications, allowing its use in environments exposed to contact with oils.

The use of a screen and appropriate insulating materials allows operation at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation), making it a universal solution for various working conditions. The minimum bending radii are 66.5 mm for fixed installations and 133 mm for mobile installations without guidance, making installation easier even in tight spaces. Reaction to fire class Eca (EN 13501-6) indicates the limited flammability of the cable.
