The BiT 500 C 18x1.0 control cable is a flexible cable designed for internal installations. Equipped with a braid of tinned copper strands, it provides effective shielding and resistance to interference. Construction and properties

The BiT 500 C cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for demanding applications. Made of multi-strand copper cores with a cross-section of 1 mm², it provides good flexibility and easy installation. The shielding braid minimizes the risk of electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in precise control systems. Additionally, the cable is oil-resistant according to IEC 60811-404, which increases its resistance to damage in harsh environmental conditions. It should be noted that the cable does not have flame-retardant properties according to IEC 60332-3-24 and is not characterized by low smoke emission (IEC 61034-2).

The cable features a screen made of a braid of tinned copper strands with 85% coverage, providing effective protection against interference. Multi-strand cores made of copper with a cross-section of 1 mm² guarantee flexibility and facilitate installation. Insulation and coating made of PVC ensure durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Core numbering facilitates the identification and connection of individual wires. Oil resistance, confirmed by compliance with IEC 60811-404, increases durability in harsh working conditions. The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 300/500V and an allowable ambient temperature from -40°C to +80°C, making it a universal solution for many applications.

The BiT 500 C 18x1.0 cable is used in control, automation installations and in mechanical engineering. It is ideal for anywhere that requires reliable transmission of control signals and protection against electromagnetic interference. The minimum bending radius for flexible installations is 136 mm, and for fixed installations – 68 mm, ensuring comfortable installation even in tight spaces. The cable weight is approximately 330 kg/km and its outer diameter is approximately 13.6 mm. The reaction to fire class is Eca (EN 13501-6).
