Construction and application

The BiT 500 C cable is characterized by a construction consisting of 18 twisted pairs, each containing two cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The cores are numbered for easy identification during assembly and servicing. The braided screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signals. The use of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the insulation material and outer jacket guarantees resistance to abrasion, moisture and many chemicals - including oils. This makes the cable suitable for both dry and humid environments, as well as in conditions exposed to contact with oils.

The BiT 500 C 18x2x1.5 cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V and a working voltage of 300 V. The permissible ambient temperature during operation is from -40°C to +80°C. The minimum bending radius during installation of moving parts is 248 mm, and during fixed installations - 124 mm. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 24.8 mm and its weight is about 885 kg/km. The core resistance at 20°C is 13.3 Ω/km. It is worth remembering the absence of halogens in the composition of the materials and the absence of low smoke emission - which is important for the fire safety of the installation (reaction to fire class according to EN 13501-6: Eca).
