Construction and properties

The BiT 500 cable with a cross-section of 4x0.75 mm² is characterized by a construction that provides high resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. Made of multi-strand copper conductors of flexibility class 5, insulated with PVC, it ensures good flexibility and ease of installation. Additionally, the presence of a tinned copper braid screen (85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in control systems. The outer PVC jacket provides protection against moisture and chemical influences. The cable is oil-resistant, which expands its range of applications.

Application and operating parameters

The BiT 500 cable is designed to operate in installations with a rated voltage of 300/500V. Thanks to the permissible operating temperature from -40°C to +80°C (in fixed installation), it can be used in various environmental conditions. The minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 34.5 mm, and in mobile installations without guidance – 69 mm, which facilitates cable routing even in tight spaces. The fire reaction class Eca provides a basic level of fire safety. The cable also has a common screen (braid) that protects against electromagnetic interference. Additionally, it complies with IEC 60332-1-2 regarding fire resistance.
