Universal control cable for various applications

BiT 500 C 4x0.75 control cable is a flexible solution for electrical installations, both in buildings and machines. It is suitable for power systems, control and protection devices, and for powering control circuits. Thanks to the copper braided screen, it provides good protection against electromagnetic interference.

Construction and properties

The BiT 500 C cable features a solid construction. It has four conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², made of copper, which guarantees good electrical conductivity. The conductors are insulated with PVC, and the entire cable is surrounded by a jacket of the same material - polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The shielding braid is made of tinned copper strands with a coverage density of 85%, minimizing the influence of interference on the signal. The conductors are numbered, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. The cable is designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, making it a universal solution for many working environments. Additionally, it is oil-resistant (according to IEC 60811-404), which increases its durability in specific conditions.

Safety and compliance with standards

The BiT 500 C cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame retardancy. The reaction to fire class is Eca (EN 13501-6), which means limited flammability and smoke emission. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 6.9 mm, and its permissible bending radius in fixed installations is 34.5 mm, while in mobile installations without guidance – 69 mm. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V. The conductor resistance at 20°C is 26 Ω/km.
