Shielded, halogen-free control cable

The BiT 500 (St) CH 19x0.5 control cable is a flexible, double-screened cable designed for installation in control circuits. It is designed for use in industrial environments where high resistance to interference and fire safety are required. The cable is characterized by the absence of halogen in the insulation and sheath, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.

The BiT 500 (St) CH cable is particularly recommended for installation inside buildings, but can also be used outdoors, in dry and humid environments. Numbered cores facilitate the identification of individual wires during assembly and servicing. The double screen protects against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable transmission of control signals.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of multi-wire copper conductors class 5, which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The cores are insulated with a special halogen-free mixture, and the entire cable has a double screen – metallized foil and copper braid – for effective protection against interference. The outer sheath is made of a material other than PVC, which further increases its safety and durability.
