BiT 500 (St) CH 3x1.0 control cable is a reliable solution for both professional installers and end-users. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a screen in the form of an aluminum foil with a copper braid, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures stable signal transmission. The cores are numbered for easy identification during installation. Made of copper, the cable offers good electrical conductivity and flexibility. In addition, it meets standards regarding fire resistance (IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24) and low smoke emission (IEC 61034-2), which increases safety in case of fire. An important aspect is also the absence of halogen in the material composition (according to IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2), which makes it more environmentally friendly and safe for health. The reaction to fire class is Dca, and the acidity class is a1.

Practical advantages and applications

This cable is perfect for industrial installations, commercial buildings and machine and device control systems. Thanks to its flexibility and mechanical strength, it is easy to install even in difficult conditions. The minimum bending radius during installation of moving parts is 67 mm, and in fixed installations 33.5 mm – which facilitates cable routing in tight spaces. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, which allows its use in a wide range of environmental conditions. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V. The core resistance at 20°C is 19.5 Ω/km. Its round shape makes it easy to run through pipes and cable ducts.
