The BiT 500 (St) 3x2.5 control cable is a solid choice for electrical installations requiring high reliability and safety. Made of copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², with insulation providing flexibility and durability, it is ideal for control applications, both indoors and outdoors. The construction with foil shielding and copper braiding minimizes electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable signal transmission.

Construction and application – the key to effective installation

This cable is characterized by three conductors numbered with digits, which facilitates identification during assembly and maintenance. The rated voltage of 300/500V allows for a wide range of applications in control circuits of various devices. Thanks to the outer diameter of approximately 9.5 mm, the cable is easy to route and install. The minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 47.5 mm, and in moving installations without guidance – 95 mm, which ensures comfortable work and minimizes the risk of damage.

Safety and compliance with standards – peace of mind during use

The BiT 500 cable meets stringent fire safety standards, confirmed by IEC 60332-3-24 (cat. C) and IEC 60332-1-2 certificates. Additionally, it complies with IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 regarding the absence of halogen in the outer coating, which increases safety in the event of a fire. Reaction to fire class Dca and acidity class a1 provide an additional level of protection. The cable also has smoke emission class s1a and dripping/particle formation d2 according to EN 13501-6. Conductor resistance is 7.98 Ω/km at 20°C. The permissible range of ambient temperatures during operation is from -40°C to +80°C.
