Construction and properties
A key element of the cable is halogen-free insulation, which increases safety, especially in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The cable is characterized by a common screen in the form of metallized foil and tinned copper braid, which provides high resistance to electromagnetic interference and effectively protects against damage. The cable cores are numbered for easy identification during installation.
The BiT 500 (St) CH 7x2.5 cable was designed with durability and flexibility in mind. Copper conductors class 5 (according to EN 60228, IEC 60228) provide good conductivity and allow for easy shaping of the cable during installation. The minimum bending radius for movable connections is 7.5 x cable diameter, which makes it easier to lay even in tight spaces.
Applications and technical parameters
This cable works perfectly in dry and humid rooms, as well as outdoors. It is designed to operate at a voltage of 300/500V. The insulation resistance is 20MΩxkm, and the voltage test is 3000V (50Hz), which confirms its high quality and reliability. Thanks to its construction, the cable meets the requirements of the PN-EN 50575 (CPR) standard, guaranteeing safe use.
