Mining cable OGŁ 3×10 GG1703
Mining Electrical Cable – Reliability in Demanding Conditions
This three-core mining cable OGŁ 3x10 is a robust solution for powering submersible motors and other equipment in harsh environments. Designed for operation under extreme conditions, it offers high mechanical and thermal resistance. Thanks to its construction with tin-coated copper conductors, it ensures efficient and safe power transmission.
Construction and Properties
The OGŁ cable features a design tailored to the specific demands of mining applications. The copper conductors, made from class 5 multi-wire material (per EN 60228), are insulated with rubber IZ (compliant with PN-89/E-29100), providing high flexibility and resistance to damage. The entire assembly is protected by a durable rubber sheath OZ3 (per PN-89/E-29100) in black, safeguarding against external factors. The three-core version uses brown, black, and gray conductor colors, simplifying identification during installation.
This cable is rated for operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C, both in water and air. The minimum installation temperature is -10°C. It withstands a working voltage of 0.6/1 kV and a test voltage of 3 kV. The permissible longitudinal mechanical load is 10 N/mm² of conductor cross-sectional area—critical when laying cables in difficult terrain. The minimum bending radius is 5 times the cable’s outer diameter, facilitating installation even in confined spaces.
The nominal conductor cross-section is 10 mm², with three conductors total. Operating voltage: 0.6/1 kV. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +60°C, with a minimum installation temperature of -10°C.
This cable guarantees reliability and safety in demanding mining and industrial applications. Its robust construction and high resistance to environmental factors make it the ideal choice for professionals seeking proven solutions.
