Mining cable OGŁ 3x16 GG1704
Product features
- High reliability in harsh conditions
The OGŁ 3x16 cable is a robust construction designed for use in demanding environments, primarily in mining. Designed to power submersible motors, it provides safe and efficient power transmission in difficult working conditions. Its construction based on copper conductors, insulation and rubber jacket guarantees high resistance to mechanical damage and external factors.
Construction and application
This cable is characterized by a round cross-section and is made of copper conductors. The insulation and rubber jacket provide not only protection against moisture and mechanical damage, but also flexibility, making installation easier even in tight spaces. Designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +60°C, both in water and in air, it performs where standard cables fail. The minimum installation temperature is -10°C.
The OGŁ 3x16 cable is ideal for:
- Powering submersible motors
- Electrical installations in mining
- Applications requiring high resistance to weather and mechanical conditions
- Cables exposed to water contact
Operating parameters and safety
The cable is designed to operate at a voltage of 0.6/1 kV and withstands a test voltage of 3 kV. This ensures safe operation even under high loads. The cable construction also takes into account mechanical loads – the permissible longitudinal load is 10 N/mm². This is crucial for ensuring the durability and reliability of the installation, especially in places exposed to ground movements or other external forces. The conductor cross-section of 16 mm² allows for the transmission of significant currents, which is important for powering energy-consuming devices. Three conductors facilitate the configuration of a three-phase installation.
