Mining cable OGŁ 3x50 GG1707
Mining cable for submersible motors
This three-core OGŁ mining cable with a cross-section of 50 mm² is designed to operate in demanding conditions typical of mining and industry. It is characterized by high mechanical and chemical resistance, making it a reliable solution for powering submersible motors and other equipment operating in harsh environments. The cable is made of tinned copper conductors, which ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance.
Construction and properties
The OGŁ cable stands out with its solid construction, adapted to the specifics of work in mines and industrial plants. The multi-wire copper conductors, class 5 (according to EN 60228), are insulated with IZ rubber (according to PN-89/E-29100), and the whole is surrounded by a durable OZ3 rubber jacket (according to PN-89/E-29100). This construction provides not only protection against mechanical damage, but also resistance to moisture, oils and UV radiation. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +60°C, both in water and in air. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter.
Application and compliance with standards
The OGŁ cable is primarily used in powering electric motors of submersible pumps in open-pit and borehole mines, as well as in other industrial plants. It can be used both outdoors and in a water-immersed environment. The cable meets the requirements of PN-EN 50575 (CPR) standard and has a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV and a test voltage of 3 kV. The permissible mechanical load is 10 N/mm², which guarantees safe use even under high loads. The colors of the conductors facilitate identification: brown, black and gray for the three-core version.
