Mining cable – reliable power supply in harsh conditions
This multi-core OnGc-G 0.6/1kV mining cable is designed to operate in the demanding conditions of mining. It is characterized by high mechanical and chemical resistance, which guarantees safe and uninterrupted power supply to equipment in underground, borehole and open-pit mining plants. The cable construction based on copper conductors, heat-resistant rubber insulation and oil-resistant rubber jacket ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
Construction and properties
The OnGc-G cable is distinguished by its solid construction. Copper conductors, made of stranded conductor class 5 according to PN-EN 60228, provide good flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation of the working and auxiliary cores is made of special heat-resistant IEP insulating rubber (according to PN-89/E-29100), and the protective core has insulation made of conductive GP rubber (according to PN-89/E-29100). The oil-resistant, flame-retardant rubber jacket further protects the cable against mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is unshielded.

Application
The OnGc-G cable is intended for powering mobile and portable receivers in mining plants (underground, borehole and open-pit), excluding areas at risk of methane and coal dust explosion. It will be perfect for powering mining machines, portable lighting and other equipment used in difficult working conditions. Thanks to its construction, this cable copes well with frequent bending and exposure to mechanical damage.
