The YnHKGSLY cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in demanding mining conditions. Its construction with shielded cores provides high resistance to interference and guarantees reliable signal transmission in control, measurement, signaling, control and local communication circuits. This cable finds application in both open-pit and underground mines, meeting stringent safety standards.

Construction and Properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. Copper cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and each of the 32 cores has an individual screen, minimizing the impact of electromagnetic interference. An additional grounding core increases safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating, providing resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. This makes the cable resistant to abrasion and maintains its properties for a long time.

The YnHKGSLY cable has certificates confirming its compliance with safety standards applicable in mining, including a positive technical opinion from the TI EMAG Institute and approvals. The fire resistance of the cable, confirmed by relevant IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 (cat. C) standards, provides additional safety in the event of a fire. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +70°C, allowing it to be operated even in extreme climatic conditions.
