Mining signal cable YnHKGSY 0.6/1kV 2x1.0+1.0 G62901
Mining signal cable – reliability in harsh conditions
The YnHKGSY 0.6/1kV cable is a specialized cable designed for operation in the demanding mining environment. The cable's construction, with shielded cores and a durable PVC coating, ensures safe and reliable transmission of control and power signals in mines. It will work well both in open-pit mines and underground workings.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction designed for the extreme conditions prevailing in mining. It uses multi-wire copper cores of class 5 (according to PNEN 60228), which guarantees flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Each core has an individual screen made of tinned copper wire braid – this is crucial for minimizing interference and ensuring a stable signal. The insulation is made of special PVC, and the outer coating is made of flame-retardant PVC with increased resistance to flame propagation (compliant with PN-EN 60332-1 and PN-EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3, category C) increases the level of safety. The cable is available in gray (for 300/500V voltage) and yellow (for 0.6/1kV voltage).
Application and compliance with standards
YnHKGSY cables are intended for powering and controlling control, safety and control devices in mining plants. They can be used in open-pit mines, borehole mines and underground mines – outside of areas at risk of explosion. They meet the requirements for operation in areas threatened by methane (degree “a”, “b” or “c”) and workings threatened by coal dust (class “A” or “B”). The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to 70°C, and the minimum laying temperature is -5°C. The test voltage is 2.0 kV for 300/500 V cables and 3.5 kV for 0.6/1 kV cables. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter.
- Durable construction: Multi-wire copper cores provide flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage.
- Individual screens: Braid of tinned copper wires minimizes signal interference.
- Safety: Outer coating made of flame-retardant PVC ensures a high level of fire safety.
- Wide application: Designed to work in various types of mines and mining workings.
- Weather resistance: Operation at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C guarantees reliability even in extreme conditions.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of PN-EN 60332-1 and PN-EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3 standards confirming the safety of use.
This cable is a solid choice for both professional installers working in mining and end-users looking for a reliable solution for specific industrial applications.
