Signal cable BiT YnKSY 0.6/1kV – reliability and safety in every installation

The BiT YnKSY cable is a flame-retardant signal cable designed for use in energetic control and protection devices, as well as control circuits. It is suitable for both power supply and signaling systems, guaranteeing safe data and energy transmission. The cable's construction allows for permanent installation, directly in the ground, in cable ducts, and on external structures with limited mechanical exposure.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. Made of round copper conductors of class 1 (according to PN-EN 60228), insulated with special PVC, it provides optimal electrical parameters. The conductors are numbered, and one of them is yellow-green for easy identification. Parallel twisted conductors form a compact core, and the whole is surrounded by a flame-retardant PVC sheath, which minimizes the risk of fire spreading in the event of a fire. This cable is classified according to PN-EN 50575 (CPR), confirming its compliance with European safety standards.

Operating parameters and installation

The BiT YnKSY cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C during permanent installation, and the lowest permissible installation temperature is -5°C. The maximum operating temperature of the conductors is 70°C, and during a short circuit – 160°C. The minimum bending radius of the cable is 10x its outer diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. When laying the cable, remember the permissible tensile forces: up to 50xS when pulling directly on the conductors or 50xS when using a holder placed on the cable surface (stocking).
