Signal cable BiT YnKSY 0.6/1kV – a reliable choice for demanding installations
The BiT YnKSY cable is a flame-retardant signal cable designed for use in energy-intensive control and protection devices and control circuits. It will work well in both power and signaling installations, offering safety and durability. This cable is ideal for indoor use, but can also be laid directly in the ground or in cable ducts.
This cable has been designed for a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C during permanent installation, and up to 70°C during continuous operation. In the event of a short circuit, it can withstand temperatures of up to 160°C. This ensures its reliability even in difficult operating conditions. The cable construction with Class 1 copper conductors (according to PN-EN 60228) guarantees good conductivity and minimizes energy losses.
Construction and properties
The BiT YnKSY cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. It consists of:
- Class 1 round copper conductors: Provide efficient electrical signal conduction.
- PVC insulation: Provides effective electrical insulation and protection against mechanical damage.
- Wire markings: Numbered wires and a yellow-green wire facilitate identification and connection of the cable.
- Parallel twisted wires: Reduce electromagnetic interference and improve signal quality.
- Flame-retardant PVC jacket: Increases safety by limiting the spread of fire in the event of a fire and provides resistance to UV radiation and the action of oils (oil resistance O2).
The cable meets the requirements of the PN-EN 50575 (CPR) standard, which confirms its high quality and safety. The minimum bending radius is 10xØ, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. In addition, BiT YnKSY cables have a RoHS 2015/863/EU certificate, which demonstrates compliance with environmental protection standards.
This cable is not only safety, but also convenient installation – permissible tensile forces during laying are up to 50xS (where S is the sum of the cross-sections of the wires in mm²). This ensures a smooth and trouble-free installation.
