Signal cable BiT YnKSY 0.6/1kV – reliability and safety of installation

The BiT YnKSY cable is a flame-retardant signal cable designed for use in energetic control and protection devices and control circuits. It is suitable for both permanent installations and laying in the ground or cable ducts. Its construction provides resistance to mechanical damage and guarantees safe operation in difficult conditions.

Construction and application

This cable is characterized by a construction adapted to a wide range of applications. It has copper conductors of class 1 (according to PN-EN 60228), PVC insulation and a flame-retardant PVC sheath, which provides additional safety. The conductors are numbered, and there is also a yellow-green conductor for protective marking. Parallel twisting of the conductors minimizes interference and improves signal quality. The cable is ideal for supplying electrical power and transmitting control signals.

Parameters and properties

The BiT YnKSY cable has been designed for demanding applications. It is intended for operation in temperatures from -40°C to 80°C for permanent installation, and the maximum conductor temperature during operation is 70°C (up to 160°C during short circuit). The voltage test of the cable is 4000V, which confirms its high quality and reliability. Thanks to the flame-retardant coating, it meets the PN-EN 50575 (CPR) standard, ensuring a high level of fire safety. In addition, the coating is resistant to oils (oil resistance O2 according to EN 60811-404) and UV radiation.
