Signal cable BiT YnKSY 0.6/1kV – reliability and safety in one insulation

The BiT YnKSY 0.6/1kV cable is a flame-retardant signal cable designed for use in control and protection devices in power systems, as well as control circuits. It is suitable for both power installations and signaling systems where safety and fire protection are crucial. This cable is ideal for indoor use, but can also be laid directly in the ground or in cable ducts.

Construction and properties

The cable features a solid construction using Class 1 copper conductors (according to PN-EN 60228). The insulation made of special PVC provides good electrical insulation, and the flame-retardant PVC coating guarantees a high level of fire safety. The cable conductors are twisted in parallel, making it easier to identify and connect individual wires – they are marked with numbering and the presence of a yellow-green wire. This makes the installation clear and intuitive for both professionals and less experienced users.

This cable is classified according to PN-EN 50575 (CPR), which confirms its compliance with European safety standards. Additionally, the coating is resistant to UV radiation and oils (O2), which increases its durability and range of applications. The cable voltage test is 4000V, and the permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +80°C during permanent installation. The maximum temperature of the conductors during operation is 70°C, and during a short circuit – 160°C. The minimum bending radius is 10xØ of the cable.
